Star Wars: Episode III

The Emergence of Darth Vader Posted by Hello

Like a groupie last night, I went to see Star Wars the Revenge of the Sith when it first opened at 12:01 a.m. It was an awesome movie that tied everything together, and on top of everything had amazing effects. Glad I gave up sleep to see it with the Star Wars' fanatics.

The Beauty of Spring

Now that classes are over and the weather is warming up, I have more of an opportunity to get outside and enjoy God's Creation! Here are some recent pictures I have taken on my walks and exploration of the area around UB....

Learning to play the guitar again

I have decided that I want to relearn the guitar. I never fully got into playing it before, but I do know some basics. Last night Joe restrung my guitar for me, and then we jammed for a little. I appreciate all his help in my quest to strum with the best of them!

Cinco de Mayo

To celebrate the Cinco de Mayo, we decided to leave the lab for lunch and go get some good food. We were debating whether to do to Don Pablos or TGI Friday's. We figured that Don Pablos would probably be busy on a Mexican holiday, so we went with TGI Friday's. I think it was an excellent choice.

Joe looks hungry

Adam looks excited (this picture was taken through the hole in the head rest of the seat.. haha)

Joe wasn't quite sure if he wanted to go with the Mexican dish, since it was the Cinco de Mayo

Adam wasn't sure what he wanted either

I knew exactly what I wanted (Jack Daniel's Chicken and Shrimp)

H.M.S. Pinafore

Saturday night I went with some friends to the Lancaster Opera House to see the musical, H.M.S. Pinafore. It was a cute and cheery play with great music. Dr. Atwood's wife Mary was in it as well as Dr. Churchill.
